Minister Delux black Tin Plate

Description

Amar Toys Minister Delux mechanical and automatic black, Tin Plate, very near mint, boxed. This model was available at least in black, red, pink and grey.

The Minister Delux is often erroneously taken for a Japanese toy. We had it listed under the make 'Fun Toys'. Indeed it is a toy from India. The make is 'Amar Toys'.

The Minister Delux was made in the 1950s or early 1960s. It is modelled on the Pontiac Chieftain of 1954. Amar Toys is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
